I am the happily married mother of three and live in Clayton, North Carolina. I currently work full-time as a legal assistant, go to school part-time and am, of course, a Consultant for Pure Romance.
I joined Pure Romance in May of 2007 after I&#39;d gone to a party at my friend&#39;s. When the Consultant at that party talked about the opportunities available through Pure Romance to work whenever I wanted and make extra money for paying off bills or to enjoy with the family, it was exactly what I needed. We had just bought a house and had a new baby under the age of 1, as well as two older children. I was tired of worrying about those unexpected expenses and living paycheck to paycheck.
My business is growing every day. I thank God for that and the fact that I joined the best party plan business available. I believe in the products, I believe in the Company and I love what I do. I am so honored to have women come to me in the ordering room and trust me with their very personal questions. I am never so proud as when someone tells me what a difference my party made - that it helped their relationship or that they learned something about themselves they never knew. Sometimes it&#39;s just that I was just able to show them that you CAN talk about these things and be comfortable. There are not many jobs out there where you get so much back than just a paycheck.
Even better - I gained SO much for myself doing the parties. I NEVER would have thought I could talk in front of people. I was scared to death of it! But I had so much fun while just explaining what the products were and laughing with the girls at the party, I would forget being afraid. The more parties I did, the less nervous I was. I have gained a self-confidence that goes beyond just doing Pure Romance parties. I&#39;ve also gained friendships for life with so many other Consultants.
On a more personal level, my life is my family. Everything centers around them and what I can do for them. When I do have free time, we love going to the beach. I grew up in Kansas and none of us had never even seen the ocean before moving to North Carolina in 2002! My husband and I used to skydive for 4 yrs until I became pregnant with our youngest daughter. I&#39;ve jumped from from many types of airplanes, a helicopter, hung upside down from a bi-plane, done a head-down, sit-fly, horny gorilla and other ridiculously named jumps. I&#39;ve been to 10 dropzones in 3 states and to the World Freefall Convention when it was in Quincy. I&#39;ll never be a whuffo (if you jump, you know what this is) and plan to get back to jumping soon. I also love cooking and the Food Network, reading when it&#39;s not a college text book and just being outside as much as possible.
